Fourth grade Battle of the Books team members met with author Zetta Elliott today. Dr. Elliott, who is currently living in France, is the author of Dragons in a Bag, one of the selected books for this years competition. Students learned about her inspiration for writing this story, how dreaming helps her write, as well as how setting a story in a real place makes it more relatable for students. Our team learned a lot about writing through this amazing experience.
