Senior Night for the Parkside High Lady Rams basketball team on Friday as they hosted visiting Stephen Decatur. Congratulations to the following Parkside CTE SkillsUSA students on their performance at the SkillsUSA Regional 1 conference that was held on Wednesday, February 19th: Masonry: 1st place: Olivia Folke Culinary Arts: 3rd place: Jeremiah Barkley These students will represent our school at the SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills conference on Saturday, March 29th at Carroll County Technical High School. Here he is, 2025 Maryland 2A Indoor Pole Vault State Champion... Reese Howard...STATE CHAMPION AGAIN IN THE POLE VAULT! He cleared 15', his personal record, and one of the top 100 high school vaults in the nation! This is Reese Howard's 3rd state title in the pole vault. Indoor champion in 2024 and now 2025, and outdoor champion in 2024. We are so incredibly proud of Reese Howard and this tremendous accomplishment!

Parkside CTE is thrilled to announce that not one but two of our teachers are semifinalists for the WCPS Rising Star Award! Jake Jackson and Rich Kaiser are 2 of 16 teachers countywide up for the award that goes to a 2nd year teacher. Jake does a phenomenal job teaching Electricity, and Rich is an amazing Criminal Justice teacher! We are proud of all of our RAMFAM staff and happy to see Jake and Rich getting some extra recognition for doing a wonderful job! 💚🤍🐏🤍💚

This is an important school status message from Wicomico County Public Schools. Due to inclement weather, Wicomico County Public Schools has cancelled all after-school and evening activities for Wednesday, Feb. 19. Please note this includes the high school Pathways to Success Night at Wor-Wic; it will be rescheduled in March. Students will bring home instructional items such as laptops, chargers and learning materials today for a potential virtual learning day on Thursday.
